Apple Word Processing


Course Description

Students will learn the basic skills involved in using Apple Word Processing for Macintosh. Topics include opening, and editing documents; Spelling and Thesaurus Tools; character and paragraph formatting, and basic page design and layout techniques. Students may also use this program to create letters, resume, flyers and brochures.

Course Objectives
  • Create and save a document.
  • Open an existing document and use simple editing techniques.
  • Apply and remove paragraph formatting such as alignments, borders, indents and bulleted lists.
  • Adjust margins, page breaks, and create headers and footers.
  • Use proofing tools such as Speller and Thesaurus.
  • Use tabs and create and modify a table structure.
