Flash
Macromedia Flash is a good program on how to design and deliver cross-platform,
low-bandwidth animations, presentations and Web applications. Along with
covering the basics of Macromedia Flash, the course focuses on best practices
and design, stressing the importance of usability, accessibility, optimization
and performance.

- Create, import and work with graphics
- Effectively use layers and frames for artwork and animation organization
- Optimize file sizes with symbols and manage assets in a production
by using the Movie Explorer and shared libraries
- Create animation with Motion and Shape Tween, multiple frame editing,
masking, and motion guides, then encapsulate them within reusable movie
clip symbols
- Build frame by frame animation
- Work with simple ActionScript commands
- Use Input text boxes and Smart Clips
- Make a preloader that runs while your movie is loading and add sound
to your documents
- Publish a Macromedia Flash document in HTML using Dreamweaver
- Implement basic principles of optimization and performance
